We are currently recruiting Midwives to join well-established antenatal care clinics in central Sweden. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive and patient-centered environment focused on pregnancy care, reproductive health, preventive healthcare, and women's wellbeing.
You will become part of a dedicated team working closely with fellow Midwives and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care for women and families throughout pregnancy.
About the role
As a Midwife, you will work within antenatal care, providing support and guidance to women throughout pregnancy and reproductive life.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Antenatal care and routine pregnancy follow-up
- Health assessments and pregnancy monitoring
- Patient education and counselling
- Reproductive and sexual health consultations
- Cervical screening
- Preventive healthcare and health promotion
- Supporting women and families throughout pregnancy
- Collaboration with women's healthcare, primary care, and family health services
You will work in close cooperation with colleagues within maternal healthcare, women's healthcare, primary care, and family health services. The organization is committed to continuous improvement and follows national guidelines to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Midwife license issued in an EU/EEA country
- Good English language skills
- Motivation to learn Swedish
- Motivation to relocate and work in Sweden on a long-term basis
Meritorious
- Experience within antenatal care
- Experience in reproductive health and preventive women's healthcare
- Knowledge of Swedish or another Scandinavian language
