I ditt dagliga arbete

About the Role

As a rehabilitation medicine specialist, you will play a key role in coordinating and guiding the rehabilitation journey of patients with neurological conditions, spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, and chronic pain disorders.

You will work in close collaboration with physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, nurses, and social workers, ensuring each patient receives comprehensive and individualized care.

The department combines inpatient rehabilitation with several specialized outpatient teams, creating a varied and stimulating work environment. In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to service development, assess referrals, and support the education and supervision of junior doctors.

Who We Are Looking For

You are a dedicated specialist who thrives in collaborative settings and enjoys helping patients achieve meaningful improvements in quality of life.

You should have:

  • An EU-recognized specialist certification in Rehabilitation Medicine
  • At least 2–3 years of independent clinical experience after specialization
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Acquired brain injury rehabilitation
    • Spinal cord injury rehabilitation
    • Pain rehabilitation
    A proactive and team-oriented mindsetAn interest in mentoring and supporting junior colleaguesMotivation to learn Swedish (language training is fully provided)
