About the role
As a rehabilitation medicine specialist, you will be responsible for the medical coordination and overall rehabilitation plans for patients with neurological injuries, spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, or chronic pain.
You will work closely with other physicians and healthcare professionals in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The department includes specialized teams focused on brain injury, spinal cord rehabilitation, and pain management with a strong focus on returning to work and daily functioning.
You will also contribute to clinical development, referral assessments, and serve as a mentor for junior doctors.

Requirements
- Holds an EU-recognized specialist certification in rehabilitation medicine
- Minimum 2–3 years of post-specialist experience working independently
- Experience with at least one of the following: acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, or pain rehabilitation
- Strong team mindset, ability to take initiative and contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration
- Interest in mentoring and supervising junior doctors
- Willingness to learn Swedish (language course provided)
